Dr Shaheen Akhtar (Associate Prof) Department of IR, participated in
International Conference on 'Indigenous Resource Management, Challenges
and Opportunities', organized by University of Management Sciences &
Information Technology, Kotli, AJK on 14-15 April 2016. She presented a
paper on 'Hydro-power development in AJK: Challenges &
opportunities'. The conference was attended by large number of
academicians, research fellows, professors and students.

First PHD Graduate of International Relations Department NDU
Maj Gen.Noel Israel Khokhar HI(M) DG ISSRA, NDU has received his PHD degree from International Relations Department NDU, Islamabad. Thus it makes him first PHD Graduate from the IR Department.
